Castlevania: Harmony of Despair now backward compatible on Xbox One

Another Castlevania game is joining the ranks of undead past releases seeing new life on modern consoles.

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, originally release for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 in 2010 and Sony’s PlayStation 3 in 2011, is now enabled for backward compatibility on the Xbox One. That means if you own the 360 disc or purchase the game now from the Xbox Live Marketplace, you can play it on the newer Xbox One.

The T-rated game sells for $14.99 with optional DLC for characters, music and stages running from $1 to $5 each per download.

Harmony of Despair now joins many other classics like DuckTales Remastered and other Castlevania titles Symphony of the Night, Lords of Shadow, Lords of Shadow — Mirror of Fate HD and Lords of Shadow 2.
