Former Atomic Comics in Gilbert expanding to 2nd location – with a cafe and event space

Strange Adventures, the store at SanTan Village in Gilbert that opened in late 2021 as a resurrected Atomic Comics before a rebranding earlier this year, today announced a second location is “coming soon” at Tempe Marketplace.

“This is really exciting for a few reasons! This space is bigger than our current one, it will have an emphasis on hanging out, playing games, larger events,” the announcement said. As part of Tempe Marketplace’s Sip and Stroll, “you’ll be able to bring your adult beverages that you buy from participating locations into the shop,” and La Taza Coffee Shop apparently will power an in-store cafe.
